What to expect at HBC
From the first time you attend Heritage Baptist Church, our desire is that the Word of God will speak to your heart and give you exactly what you need. We are an old-fashioned baptist church with traditional services. Each service begins with old fashioned hymns sung from the hymn books. Our adult choir sings during each Sunday service with great singing; and we enjoy strong Bible preaching from the King James Bible. We are not ashamed to praise the Lord, and every service will conclude with an altar call, inviting everyone to spend time in prayer.
Sundays @ HBC
At 10:00 a.m., we have Sunday School classes for all ages. As 2nd Peter 3:18 states, we want everyone in our Sunday school program to "grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ".
At 11:00 a.m., we begin our Sunday morning church service in the sanctuary for all teenagers and adults. During that same time we have a nursery available for children ages 0-3. There are also children's ministries available for children ages 4-7 and 8-12.
On Sunday night our church service begins at 6:00 p.m., and there is a nursery available for children ages 0-3. In our evening services, both the adult choir, and the youth choir (ages 13-18+ will sing, along with many other singing groups.
Wednesdays @ HBC
Our Wednesday evening church service begins at 7pm. Parents are encouraged to bring all children ages 3-12 for a brief choir practice at 6:30 p.m. These children make up our Sounds of Joy choir and sing during our Wednesday night church service.
Mondays and Tuesdays @ HBC
During the school year, we offer Heritage Baptist Bible College as an avenue for God's people to earn a Bible degree while being an active member of their local church. For more information on our Bible college, please see the link at the bottom of the page.
Thursdays @ HBC
During the school year, we would like to invite you to bring your children to take part in our Master's Club Ministry. This is a program that is offered for all children ages 4 through 12th grade. In Master's Clubs, the children sing songs, play games, memorize scripture, and hear a Bible lesson.
Saturdays @ HBC
Saturdays are the day we collectively go out to perform the great commission. In Mark 16:15, the Lord told us "...Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." We attempt to fulfill this cmommission through our door-to-door soulinning, bus vistiation, and first time attender follow up. We meet at 10:00 AM every Saturday morning. We would love for you to join us as we attempt to reach people with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
