Chances for Children to Get Involved

Heritage Baptist Church has many opportunities for children ages 3 through 12 to get involved.

We offer Sunday school classes for each age group.  During the morning services, Children's Church is available for ages 4-7.  Here they will sing songs, play games, have a small snack, and learn a brief message from God's Word. Children ages 8-12 can participate in our Mega Church service.  They too will sing songs, play games, and hear a message from God's Word with a little more excitement geared toward their age group. The Mega Church atmosphere also gets them ready for regular church services by teaching them the basics of singing from hymnals, taking an offering, and listening to preaching.

During the evening services, Children's Church is available for children up to age 5.

On Wednesday night our Children's Choirs meet at 6:30 pm for practice. The Sunbeam Choir (ages 3-7) meet in our choir room and The Sounds of Joy (ages 8-12) meet in the classroom next to the fellowship hall.  These choirs will practice several songs, one of which they will sing during the Wednesday night church service.  Beginning in October, these choirs meet at 7:00 pm and practice for the upcoming Christmas plays.

Thursday nights are always an exciting time for our children.  Our Master Clubs program starts at 6:30 and ends at 8:30 pm.  During Master Clubs, children again have a chance to fellowship with their particular age group while earning rewards for Bible memorization, burning some energy during Rally Time and Game Time, and learning more from the Word of God.  Throughout the year, there are fun themed nights where children can dress up and let loose with some wacky costumes and/or activities.  Nerd Night, Crazy Hair Night, Tailgate Night, and the Fall Festival are only a few of the favorites!

Feel free to call or come by the church office with any questions that you may have about our children's programs.
