June 10, 2012- HENSON FAMILY We all love and appreciate Bro. Roger Henson and his family and this day of the year is always special to us. Bro Henson will be teaching and preaching in all the services on this Sunday and his family will be singing. Don't miss this great Sunday and invite someone to come with you.

Church Retreat All of our church family is invited to spend several days enjoying good fellowship, food, and fun. We rent an entire hotel in Franklin, NC so it will only be our church there. You can really get to know the other families when you are able to just sit and talk with them. Our pastor and his wife use this time to get close to all the families that can come. Whether it is for a day or all week you will want to attend the Church Retreat. The cost for an entire week is around $140.00 or $35.00 per day for a room.

Sunday night we were all challenged to win souls. Everyone in the service purposed to present the plan of salvation to at least one person this week. Some are doing it every day but for sure one person will hear about Jesus Christ from you this week. If you witness to one person then you have given that person the opportunity to get saved but if you don't witness to anyone then no one has has the chance to accept Christ. The more you present the gospel the more people you will see get saved! "But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully." 2 Corinthians 9:6. The law of sowing and reaping is right whether you are talking about your giving, sin, or soul-winning!

It is amazing that every church service you attend at Heritage Baptist Church you leave thanking God you came! The best news ever is that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died for our sins, was buried, rose again on the third day, and is alive and well and willing to save you today!!!
