The AWANA Ministry is a Bible club for children ages 3 thru 12th grade and meets on Thursday night from 6:45 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The AWANA ministry is held from September through May of each year. The AWANA ministry does not meet during the summer.

The individual clubs are

• Cubbies (ages 3 and 4),
• Sparks (Kindergarten thru 2nd grade)
  
• Truth & Training (3rd grade thru 6th grade)
  
• Journey 24/7 (7th grade thru 12th grade).

AWANA is an acrostic that stands for ‘Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed.’ (II Timothy 2:15)

The goal of our AWANA ministry is to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him. YOUR CHILDREN WILL LOVE IT! Each club night consists of Bible memorization, games and a Gospel message. AWANA will help your children learn God’s Word and hide it in their hearts. They will also enjoy good fellowship with other children, especially during game time. Those working with the children will learn the word of God, grow personally in the Lord, and have a wonderful sense of accomplishment by influencing children for Christ. The rewards for being an AWANA worker are eternal. The AWANA Commander is Barry Marbut and you can see him or his wife Marita if you would like to help in AWANA.

We had Balloon Blast night in AWANA!  Over 100 balloons were let go with tracts attached to them!

There is no telling where the gospel will travel!
