Church Retreat

Families take a retreat and call it a vacation. Our couples take a few days together without the children and we call this the couples retreat. Our church family rents an entire hotel and enjoys a few days of fun and fellowship where we get to spend more time together to build friendships. This years church retreat dates are June 28-July 1, 2011. The retreat will be located in Franklin, North Carolina. The cost of the retreat is 140.00 for all four days or you can pay for one day at the time. The rooms are first come first served so pay for your room as soon as possible.

Couples Retreat

God can take a bad marriage and make it good but God can take a good marriage and make it better! Every year the week after Valentines Day our couples of all ages go on the Couples Retreat to a romantic location for a few days of quality time together. We have group sessions for all the couples on Thursday night, Friday morning, and Friday night. The date of the Couples Retreat is February 23-24, 2012 and we will be going to Savannah, Georgia this year. Much of the time is spent with each other or enjoying fellowship with other couples. The main goal is for you to leave the retreat thanking God for who your spouse and your marriage.  to seek to honor and please god in your marriage.

Ladies Banquet

In the Spring of each year all the ladies are invited to attend the Ladies Banquet. You will enjoy a wonderful meal served to you by the men of the church, see the yearly skit performed by several of our ladies, and hear an excellent speaker challenge you to serve the Lord through serving your family. invite your friends and loved ones to come with you. Our Ladies Banquet will be on Saturday, May 7, 2011.

Ladies Tour of the Homes

During the Christmas season several of our ladies volunteer to decorate their home for a progressive dinner. All the ladies meet at each house beginning with appetizers and ending with desert. Every lady who is a member of Heritage is invited to this great time of fun and fellowship.

Ladies Blue Willow

All of our try to attend the luncheon at the Blue Willow Restaurant. It is always a fun-filled afternoon where you can get to know the other ladies.

Men's Prayer Breakfast

Once a month the ladies cook an awesome breakfast for all the men on Saturday and afterward we pray together for a while before going out soul-winning. All the men are invited to attend and enjoy the good fellowship with each other and with God.

Calling Men to Jesus/Fishing For Men Wild Game Dinner

Everyone brings 'critter dinner' which consists of anything that at one time was breathing but is now cooked and in a bowl. Local outdoor vendors attend with free gifts given away during drawings. This takes place in the Fall and Spring of every year and many men in our church and in the community attend. Jesus is presented in a unique way and many people come to Christ. Any man anywhere is invited. Call the church office for more details.

Father-Son Retreat

All the daddy's and other men of the family take the boys camping or off on an activity together. There is singing, preaching, eating, fishing, and fun for everyone. The goal is to build a strong relationship with our fathers and their son's.

New Member Dinner

All of our new members are invited to attend the New Member Dinner which take place every  quarter. You will enjoy a meal after the morning service with our pastor and his family and receive a church information gift packet. Our pastor will take you on a tour of the church and share some of his vision for the future of Heritage Baptist Church.

The first Sunday a baby is brought to church after being born we have the parents bring the baby to the front of the church and we have prayer for all of them. The baby is presented wit it's first Bible from the church and everyone is always thrilled to get to see the little infants.
